Visible sound: Blue Waves - Limited Edition of 15 Photograph

We feel pleasure in listening to favorite music. Being at symphonic orchestra concert, organ music night or rock concert, we may physically feel a music flow. It means, a soundwave may be captured not only with ears. No secret that many people get visual impressions while listening to music. By extension of this point, it got me thinking how my favorite musical compositions would look like. Their rhythm, form, color… With my ‘Visible sound’ project I explore sound reflection in liquid medium affected by low-frequency audio range as the most visible for frequency distribution in liquid mediums. Project concept is to combine in spectator’s mind a musical composition and a photographic image made in liquid by sound. As an artist I am truly interested in your takeaways from what you’ve seen. Have you felt the music image I presented? Were the rhythm and impression relatable? This image was created by the waves of "Sheherazade" a symphonic suite composed by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. Prints are made of Fujicolor Crystal Archive Paper Digital Pearl, signed and numbered front and back.
