WATER - Limited Edition 1 of 25 Photograph

Some time ago I got diagnosed with something called isolated left ventricular non-compaction. Supposedly it is a severe cardio myopathy. And I think it is. At the time my prognosis was fairly grim. Four to five years heart transplant and or death. Pretty much I had given up image making at this point in time. I really did not feel very good at the time for several reasons like ten percent ejection fraction and pitting edema. I did however get to look at some amazing images of my heart along the way. So I got to look at these amazing images of my heart. At the time I did not I realize how amazing these were to me. To the day I can tell you the day when I woke up and said to myself I have to do something.. I picked up my camera that day and just started taking pictures of anything and everything. And then water. And when looking at the images I saw a similarity between my echo-cardiograms and the water images. Repeating patterns in nature.
