Walking Kiting Biking - The Miniatures Series This Digigraphie® is printed on archival quality fine art canvas. Details are subtly enhanced with gouache acrylic medium adding a new dimension to the photography. This original art work is authenticated, signed, embossed by the artist's personal Digigraphie® stamp and accompanied by its certificate. Digigraphie® is a label of excellence that guarantees both the quality of the printed photography and its limited edition. The Miniatures Series is about setting mortality at a distance. Looking at life from afar, beings are rendered silhouettes. This entertains the illusion that we have stepped outside our lives as mere mortals. Where they are going and what they are thinking is no longer relevant. Agitation becomes almost slow motion in the immensity of Nature. And indeed, Nature remains, regardless of what our short-lived destinies become. Which then is preferred, being the observer or the observed ?

Ida Giroday's creative process comes from a passion for visual beauty. "Mother nature thrills my senses and visual sensations have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was fortunate grew up in beautiful surroundings, with time for long walks and cloud gazing. All this was put in a special place inside that later became my refuge and that is my creative source today." Through fine arts and particularly photography, images are at the heart of every creative action. "Photography allows me to catch a glimpse of eternity. Visual beauty brushes the human soul and in an instant, time and space disappear, placing me in a place of sheer stillness. My aim is to share these moments of bliss and touch my fellow humans." Ida often works on several projects at once, that may quite differ in style and expressed emotions. "I like the idea that beauty feeds the soul and that looking at my work, the brain doses off a bit and lets the soul wander about and relax." Ida shoots around the globe, from Lapland to North America, from Panama to the Maldive Islands, from Polynesia...to the tip of Brittany... While photography is the foundation for Ida's creative work, other medium are often used to add another dimension and enhance the expressed emotions. A true perfectionist, she makes the point of mastering the complete creative process from shooting to museum-quality printing. Each print is authenticated, signed, numbered and certified.
