aunde is a Pacific Northwest artist with Irish roots. Her current home is on the traditional lands of the Coast Salish tribes. She is guided by questions of de-centering humans to expand conversations around the rights of Nature. If, according to Irish tradition, a spirit of “the Other Crowd” might be found in any form from the sea to the sky, how does one show that Otherworldly spirit? "Intertidal", her series documenting climate driven storms and the ancient magic of the sea's transformational imagery, has been selected for PNW Drawers 2026 at Blue Sky Gallery, Portland, OR. Her work has been displayed in environmental exhibitions including "Creative People Leading Climate Action" at UMass, and "Earth Action Initiative" at UC Berkeley. "Limina" received the Allied Arts MFA scholarship. She presented "Limina: Reflections of Identity through the Lens" at the American Conference for Irish Studies. aunde holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts. She is currently pursuing an MA in Humanities with a specialization in Medieval Irish Studies, where she hopes to weave together literature, archaeobotany, data, and art. Please reach out for specific interests. She has many bodies of work in various states of completion and is happy to discuss special commissions. Additional sizes are available but require additional time for proofing and printing.
