ABOUT THE ARTWORK

A striking art print of a monochrome forest set alight from within by the gilded plumage of an elder-adolescent pair of elongated hoofed ostriches. An evolved descendent of the genus Struthio camelus (the common ostrich) this creature is deceptively agile with a razor-sharp mind and blistering vision to match. Their most recent predecessors’ range had been scaled back to Africa, but this Mx. honorific species increasingly roams in family packs under verdant tree canopies, which greedily grow back over once barren lands. This artwork forms one of a complementary pair which look stunning when hung together. Printed in the artist's studio in London, using the highest quality archival paper (Matt Smooth Fine Art Cotton 300gsm) and highest quality inks (giclée), to ensure you are able to enjoy your print for years to come. Edition of 175, signed and numbered by the artist. Kristjana’s prints are sold through many sales channels and some of them sell fast. Therefore we can not guarantee that the next edition is the one you will receive if you buy this print. If you would like to know what the next available edition number is, please contact Saatchi Art customer service before placing your order. Your artwork will be printed and shipped within 3-5 working days. Your artwork will arrive safely in a cardboard tube.
