Abundance of water Print - Limited Edition of 10

My name is Lidija and I was born in Novi Sad, Serbia. I've completed my BA degree at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, module: printmaking in 2020 and my MA studies at the same module in 2022. I am an awardee of the Annual Prize of the Fine Arts Department for the most successful printmaking artwork (2020). And I've also won the award for the best print at the 4th International Printmaking Biennial in Čačak (2020). I am an active member of the Shock Cooperative and also a co-founder of an open printmaking studio and organisation Graphic Network. My artistic practice is based on the examination and exploration of graphic styles and techniques with a clear tendency of insisting on analogous processes of work, research and thinking. My work itself is based on contradiction, taking on a personal poetics and a clearly engaged attitude about the nature of the processes that underlie every life and being, processes such as movement, steadiness. In my work, I also explore the emptiness/empty space that is an integral part of every composition, interacting with different elements such as everyday objects, nature motifs, textures, etc. Empty space becomes its own separate element and like that, it creates uniqueness inside of each work.
