I like old historical buildings. The Alviso Adobe in Pleasanton, California was built in 1854 by Francisco Alviso, part of an early Mexican Land Grant. The adobe was in continuous use until 1969. Today it is part of a community park. This is a limited edition, 2-color linocut print. Each color was hand carved onto a separate linoleum block, then hand printed on archival German Frankfurt paper, on my etching press. Print area is about 24 x 12 inches, paper measures 30 x 17 inches. Each print is signed by the artist, numbered and is an original piece of art.
