ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Autumn Leaves print is one of a series of studies made in preparation for the Feuilles d'Automne (Autumn Leaves) painting, which is part of the 'Fragile Nature' collection. All the studies were made from observational drawings in the garden and surrounding Fontainebleau forest. (N.B. Please note that the images of the print paper is showing cooler in colour than the original scans and though I have tried to alter the paper colour to a warmer tone, it has not been possible. The paper is a warmer white not so blue)
