ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired after the beautiful model. Started sketching and from that sketch had to make a etch. The beautiful lines of the model had to be in etching. My style is a bit cheeky and direct and tells a story from the picture itself. From the drawing (100cmx70cm) I made a etch in a plexiglass, much smaller than the original drawing. The expression was more obviouw that way. Very proud of the work. I hope that is will give you as much joy as it gave me making it. The paper is a bit larger than the print itself. The size of the paper is 13cmx28,5cm.

My work starts with realistic reproduction, working in series reality leaves and emotion takes over. These images are stronger and more subtle in the same time. The original image stays but the brain takes over the role of the eyes and the brain starts filling in the abstracts. "Tokking" was shown in the "Gemeentemuseum" of The Hague, during "Zomerexpo". In the same Year two landscapes were shown in "het Venrays" museum. Working with oilpaint I can create my own world.
