Black Moon Print - Limited Edition of 10

Aina is a Mallorcan artist and the creator of BcnTku Art Studio. Graduated in Fine Arts at the university in Barcelona, That is the BCN in BcnTku. Later on moved to Turku, where she has formed her family and started her project, thats the TKU. Her art field of choice is the geometric abstraction. She uses both basic shapes and bold colours to fill the empty space, so the lines fluid together leading to precise and balanced geometric compositions where the ideas of symmetry-asymmetry and pulling and letting go play the main role.  The use of classic minimalistic compositions, repetition of shape and patterns, and her love for suprematism, and the Bauhaus ideas and aesthetics, show constantly in her work. Her willing for experimenting in arts has lead her to translate her visual ideas into another of her favourite techniques, the linocut printing, she calls herself a person of process and printing its all about the process. Printing has been a pillar for the international approach of Bcntku studio. In the last couple of years her focus has shifted towards her original passion for painting and expanded her vision for the studio, planning now as a main goal to turn the space and business into a space for multidisciplinary arts, where collaboration paintings, ceramics and collages are on the planning for new projects and exhibitions.
