About The Artwork
The Idea came Doris Taussig during watching news when burning woods where shown in Canada June 2023 on TV. The smoke reached Montreal and New York and breathing was difficult for people. She felt sorry for all the animals which are affected by the greedy way of life of the people who are the causer. Also the little HappyTottii! HappyTottii is rare, collectible and unique! She gets her inspiration from the daily observation of individuals and her own experiences.

Doris Taussig was born in Vienna / Austria in 1950, has two daughters and currently lives in Funchal/Madeira. In 1968, during a lengthy stay, she attended a public art school in New York and studied nude drawing and watercolor techniques. In 1982 she returned to painting and studied nude drawing and oil painting at the Vienna Art School.
