I was born and raised in London, but in 2004, my husband and I made the life-changing move to Australia. My artistic path is an unconventional one, as I am entirely self-taught and only discovered my true calling as a fine artist later in life. Throughout my life, I've always been closely connected to the creative world, having owned a women's clothing business, restored historic homes, and, most recently, worked as a cosmetic tattoo artist. My artistic journey has been a meandering one, each bringing me closer to my authentic purpose. After years of running a thriving cosmetic tattoo business, I found myself yearning for a hiatus. It was during this transformative period in 2019 that I rekindled my love for nature and its remarkable healing abilities. This was also the moment I picked up a paintbrush for the first time since leaving school. Through my art, I endeavour to capture the essence of organic forms, intricate textures, and the delicate beauty of the natural world. I draw inspiration from the interplay of light with colour and depth, constantly experimenting with different artistic mediums to create evocative and emotionally resonant pieces. Whether I'm working in a realistic style or exploring the world of abstract art with a focus on texture, my work reflects my deep passion for nature and my aspiration to promote positivity, well-being, and vitality. With each piece, my aim is to bring the beauty and magic of our world into people's homes, instilling a sense of joy and significance in the lives of those who engage with my art.
