These prints are inspired from my year long IV therapy experience battling Lyme disease. In a moment of sadness and pain, I decided to write the words "I Love You" on my IV bag and celebrate it, rather than continue to curse it. This evolved into considering the notion: what if we could infuse any idea or energy and encapsulate that into a word, like LOVE, and how that can heal us and change us. Each word in this series, Infused Vocabulary, is pressed into the clean white paper, centered in a white IV bag image, on a field of pale green covered in ticks. What word would you want infused into you? Other words for this series include: SURVIVAL STATEMENT CONSENT NORMAL ETERNAL PURE DEATH PREVENT PERFECTION LOYALTY PROPRIETARY ADDICTIVE SOCIALIZED Screen print with relief on heavy paper Signed and numbered, 2018 edition of 125 h: 24 inches; w: 18 inches
