I save pictures that interest me in my computer. “Ladies in Lace” began with a newspaper photo from the 30's. When I scanned it in the dot pattern magically turned into lace. Then the ladies appeared & proceeded to create their own world. The technique used to create "Ladies in Lace" is very much like a traditional collage except images are scanned into the computer, cut & pasted & changed in numerous ways. The final image with hundreds of layers is then printed with an Epson archival printer on rag paper. The image is 17" x 8". Limited Edition of 100
