About The Artwork
The work was created using a 3D scan and subsequent 3D object of the ancient Greek statue of goddess Aphrodite. I painted with acrylics an especially lit angle of that artwork in the 3D environment and consequently I went on to photocopy my painting and create a monotype of the image. Creating different tonal prints resulted in different versions of the same image. Even though it started as a 3D piece, it ends up as something manually put together and it is my intention to conclude to hands-on art and manual procedures.
