Midnight Blue, New York Print - Limited Edition of 50

Visits to New York inspired me, especially arriving in the evening as the city lights were contrasted against the twilight blue sky. The image was drawn into a hard wax ground on a copper plate with an etching needle, and a second plate was aquatinted to provide the blue background. The prints are individually printed in a limited edition. The ink I chose for it was called Midnight Blue - as this was the closest blue to my memory of my visits to New York.
