Based in Guildford, Surrey. My approach: I have developed a unique style of paintings and printmaking techniques that deal with the playful fun of exploring colour and texture, how it can affect the character and position of the figurative study. Inspired by everyday occurrences, movement in animals, nativity, the subtleness of life surrounding us and how each of these characters make their way through life. I have three strands to my life: running a farm; working as a coach and business trainer and working as an artist and teacher. My creativity is what I bring to all aspects of my life. I know I cannot be full time as an artist, I like to help people too much. But my painting and my printmaking is my meditation, I carve out time for this at weekends and evenings; working regularly to commission and occasional exhibition. My passion for being in the natural environment, looking after animals and nurturing their life comes into the subject matter that drives the imagery in my artwork.
