About The Artwork
The perfect vacation destination is a sunny beach with a hot sun and sparkling waters. A place where you can go to escape from cares and tribulations and just enjoy the fresh air. Maybe with a large Mai Tai? I wanted this artwork to take you there. The inks, dyes, and paper substrates for this limited edition print are archival and will last for generations under prescribed conditions. The paper is natural sugar cane fiber with a subtle texture. This print was created using a variety of techniques including drawing, painting, photography, collage; and digitally merged by the artist. A limited edition of 10 prints was hand-rendered by the artist and signed. I chose this medium of digital painting because it is such an environmentally friendly method of printing compared to the dyes and poisons used for printmaking in previous times. Leaving the collector to add and express personal framing taste, the prints are unframed unless otherwise requested (at additional cost).
