Born 1968 in San Francisco, raised in Bavaria, extensive traveling, studying and teaching internationally, now resides south of Munich in a country setting. Büntig exhibits internationally and his work is found in private and public collections like the New York Public Library, the Montefiore Fine Art Collection or the British Museum in London. Büntigs work is know for its stunning use of color, its complexity and positiv radiance and for the innovative application of the analogue printmaking techniques.
