About The Artwork

A map of London focusing on the Royal London, with references such as the crown and jewellery. This modern wall art also features the animals that were kept in the Royal Menagerie in Tower of London. The artwork depicts the industrial London with references, with buildings made out of tools and industrial iron particles, the measuring tapes and iron, alongside the famous London markets and all of this which makes up the working heart of the great city of London. This artwork is not framed. Also available in a smaller sizes, A1 and A0. Printed in England, using the highest quality archival paper (Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 300 gsm) and highest quality inks (giclée), to ensure you are able to enjoy your print for years to come. Edition of 175, signed and numbered by the artist. In February 2018, this piece was on edition 24/175 across the 3 sizes. Iceland born artist Kristjana S Williams studied graphic design and illustration at Central St Martins and quickly gained critical acclaim as Creative Director of Beyond the Valley for 8 years. In 2011 she began creating fine art pieces, illustrating books, designing interiors items and more. Her designs are inspired by nature and her technique involves digitally and physically layering nature upon nature to mirror the symmetry in all living things. Each piece is it's own magical universe of exotic botanicals and vibrant animals. Williams’ work has become well known throughout the industry winning numerous awards including a D&AD award, Clio Award and a first prize at New York Festivals Grand Prix. Her work can be found at The Victoria & Albert Museum, Penhaligons perfumeries and various galleries and hotels nationally and internationally. Most recently she designed the album artwork for Coldplays new live album 'A Head Full of Dreams: Live in Buenos Aires and Live in Sao Paulo'.
