ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Collage of photographic images collected in Mozambique. The image is transferred to a photopolymer printing plate and printed by hand using two tones of rich sepia etching ink on a manual etching press in the intaglio manner. The quality of Charbonnell etching ink on thick German paper gives beautiful, archival tones. The intaglio technique is unchanged since the time of Rembrandt. (the given size is that of the image - there will be an extra 8cm approx border on paper)
