Monotype: A monotype is essentially ONE of a kind: mono is a Latin word which means ONE and type means kind. A monotype is a one of a kind, hand-pulled print. Even though a monotype is a print, it is an original, not a reproduction. The characteristic of this method is that no two prints are alike; although images can be similar, editioning is not possible. Monotype 1/1 25x21,5cm 2014 Original monotype printmaking on paper.
