Sergio Rocha Aldunate was born in Santiago de Chile in1972. He studied Fine Arts at Arcis University with professor Virginia Errazuriz and completed his studies at Universidad Catolica de Chile under professor Eduardo Vilches, where he specialized and certified in Etching. His art production reflects his life among silkscreen, inks, wallpapers, textiles, leather, upholstery and handicrafts; as he grew up in the studio with his father who dedicated his life and mastered those skills. Then, after his studies and several exhibitions he worked for different advertising agencies, elaborating three-dimensional and graphic adds. His recent work reflects his diverse interests. Naturalistic imagery, old prints and daily folklore in public space. At the moment he lives, works and teaches in Algarve, Portugal.
