Transmission (Micro Perforation) Print - Limited Edition of 30

This photograph represents the hand of a young craft worker in a Leavers Lace manufacture in the north of France. This piece is part of a very special project created slowly and respectfully in partnership with Studio Saison and the Imprimerie du Marais. Demonstrating the incredibly large possibilities of creating one of a kind art piece with the unique Fedrigoni papers and the know-how printing techniques of Imprimerie du Marais. Here presented in Micro Perforation. The photograph is an output from a book about Lace showing the craft and unique know-how of manufactures in the north of France, working for fashion houses such as Chanel, Dior, Jimmy Choo or Balenciaga. We pushed the borders acceptable to its maximum to engrave the photographs in the core material of the paper and then highlight the fine details, texture and reflections of the combination of ink, paper and photon giving birth to masterpieces.
