ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This set of prints explore the act of consuming. Etching relies on the acid's eating away of iron. It is an act of consuming similar to that of human consumption of natural resources. I captured five stages of the plate during the consumption. The prints turned out to represent moments before the light bulb was "lit up", which is also when the steel was eaten away.
