ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I take my inspiration from the East Sussex countryside. I hope to evoke a sense of a landscape being in constant flux and ever changing. As well as painting I love the process of etching, especially spit bite and sugar lift which I use when etching a zinc plate. I'm drawn to a landscape that has has some kind of human activity imprinted onto it. e.g. a ploughed field.
