About The Artwork
Based on my artistic engagement with the female nude, the "Zyklus Gründie" emerges. A further deepening of my preoccupation with the female nude takes place in 2005 with the concentration of my work on the intimate area of women - the vagina. This work of art shows the further development by means of a rotation of the original motif, the vagina, in all four directions. There is also a sequence in all four directions. To the right, to the left, down and up. The motif was multiplied and lined up in this four directions. In addition, there was a battle with color. This was leading via the four pictures "KAMPF MIT DER FARBE I-IV" to a reduction of the intense color of the previous works of art to the greatest possible contrast of black and white in this work of art "V_MUSTER ORI". So it becomes a virtually infinite pattern. The further reduction of the "V-MUSTER ORI" finds its expression here in a screen print on an aluminium composite panel - the "V-MUSTER". Together with a designer, I developed "mobile art" in the form of four "body covers" for women in our project "kunst stoff" in 2006/07.

Of breathing, heartbeat and gravity! Forces, rhythms and cycles that exist and operate inside and outside the human being are analyzed and observed by me. Based on a special technique of paint application that I have developed, the reduction of the color palette allows me to focus on form and material. Following on from the series of works "ZUCKERWATTE FÜR ALLE?!" the thematic examination of the question leads to works reduced to black and white on the theme: "FREIHEIT -EIN GEFÜHL?!" I investigate how these phenomena affect the theme of freedom. The longer I deal with this topic, the more color regains importance. My other artistic themes are: * Gender-independent structures in society that influence the individual. * Femininity - women in society
