My work is often about people and specifically 'human landscape'.I am intensely interested in what it is that people cannot say, cannot access or cannot feel.Those that have no voice for either economic, social/political or educational reasons.Those on the edge of society, on the edge of themselves or those who are excluded. The iconic Ned Kelly image and fellow bushrangers have been of great interest to me, as it reflects Australian attitudes to authority, social resilience and politics. Printmaking lends itself to layered markmaking and texture.
