VIEW IN MY ROOM
Conicals shapes cut out by laser in 12 stainless steel pieces are arranged in an order that follows the Fibonacci series, where each term is the sum of the previous two: 1 circle, 1 circle, 2 ellipses, 3 parabolas, 5 hyperbolas. The colors and the orientation of the pieces make it possible to differentiate them. If you look very closely, you can imagine yourself moving between the shapes. Confusion sets in when you look at the pieces on the mirror side!

My work is mostly inspired by mathematics and architecture. I am receptive to rationality and seek purity of form, organized, non-random line of thought. With logical and mathematical relations such as the golden number or the Fibonacci sequence, my work endeavors to marry discipline and sensitivity. Interaction with the environment, a slight movement, a shift of light, or the viewer's change of place reveal artworks with a renewed perception. Rational and geometrical, my compositions follow strict rules of creation that should disappear to reveal a playful, and intriguing experience.
