THE HUMAN FOODPRINT explores the meaning of art as a message courier. Art is not only beauty and color but it is a representative of the contemporary society. Plastic packaging are constantly used to carry our food. THE HUMAN FOODPRINT visualize the amount of plastic we are buying every day and represents the footprint that we are unconsciously leaving on our planet. Is that a beautiful decoration or a dramatic reality? The shapes are made of plaster by using food packaging, from the supermarket, as mold and handpainted specifically so they create a 3-dimensional wallpaper.
