A GIRL WENT OFF HER HEAD
This piece of light art is part of an Installation & Performance named Five Years presented at the Zer0 Open Studio in London. The work was inspired by the song Five Years by David Bowie. It shows a collapsing and disruptive world. It is made of antique pieces of wood found on the streets. Outside the decaying portal there is a straight path that takes a woman to an abyss where she will commit a poetical suicide. The contrast between the organic materials and shapes, the lighting and the architectural structure of this sculpture intensify this feeling
