The moons come out to play at midnight Weaving a dance from the tree branches. This artwork is about midnight gardens, moonlit landscapes, shamanic dances, elemental energy, spirits of nature at large, and very magical trees. I used steel wire of various gauges as my foundation, and made shapes from paper and fabric, used some beads and baubles, and also round styrofoam shapes dressed in paper and painted as mini-landscapes, in layers and layers of acrylic and watercolour. The composition is pretty flexible and bendable to create your own shapes if desired. This piece could also be hung horizontally or at an angle of your choosing to make it more dynamic. Play with it - you are the master of your universe. The artwork is lightweight and hangs on two steel anchors. The different gauge wire pieces add a beautiful 3D effect to this artwork, the fluid lines are precious and could be modified according to your mood, the subtle geometric bends and angles are also of much interest and add so much potentiality to this piece. P.S. I just discovered that this artwork looks amazing if suspended on the ceiling: I used two existing plant-hanging anchors on the ceiling to suspend this piece and it does look great. As for commission ideas, I would be very much interested in creating a suspended canopy for your bedroom or alcove embedding desired shapes or elements (planets, flowers, abstracted shapes, leaves, etc) into a paper bead network of desired colour/theme. This artwork will be shipped in a box folded between layers of cushioning materials.

Poetry, music, rebellion, femininity, humour and wonder of my world reveal themselves in images, both soft and hard, always mysterious, always in layers of meaning. My stories emerge like flowers opening up their petals, one at a time, as I try to bring to light all the facets of a certain moment in time, of a beautiful memory. But in the end, or in the beginning, it's all about love. I explore painting as a connection to our human vulnerability, of which love is its ultimate manifestation.
