I've been a full-time artist since 1988 specializing in Sea and Animal wildlife in wood, both large heavy relief wall sculptures and "in the round" free standing work. All work is for indoor display only. I grew up in San Francisco in the Sunset District, a few blocks from the ocean and my dad ran 12 salmon fishing boats out of Fisherman's Wharf for over 30+ years. Although the commercial side of fishing did not interest me, the sea life did and the passion for creating the sculptures stemmed from that upbringing branching out also into animals of all kinds. Having a great drawing background shows in all the sculptures and carvings. Each piece is an original work, signed and copyrighted. My style is very different from most carvers and sculptors and this unique look attracts the public enjoying pieces in their homes or businesses.
