Ein Stück Stoff hat viele Bedeutungen - trennen, bedecken, verstecken, verdecken, maskieren. In der Kunstgeschichte beziehen sich Vorhänge auf alle abgebildeten Stoffe oder Textilien, bei denen es sich in der Regel um Kleidung handelt. Die schematische Darstellung der Falten und Webmuster von lose hängenden Kleidungsstücken auf der menschlichen Form mit antiken Prototypen wurde von griechischen Vasenmalern und Bildhauern des frühesten 5. Jahrhunderts als Ergänzung zur weiblichen Form überarbeitet und ist eine wichtige Stilquelle geblieben Formeln in Skulptur und Malerei. In dieser Serie möchte ich mit neuen Oberflächen experimentieren. Durch die Applikation von Holz bekommen die Draperien neue Dimensionen und die Ebene der Reflexion wird hinzugefügt.

In a larger cycle of middle formatted works, titled "(un)written letters", again the topic is the question of human communication. As in letters that can't be read, characters and symbols structure the area of the pictures.
