ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I saw this statement as I was walking and thought it was very crucial to overall racial reform in the United States. All lives do matter yet black lives must be emphasized because that is where the great disparity lies and once that is addressed than all lives will really matter. The image of the photograph, "Whipped Peter" is on the back side to illustrate the horrendous disparity in regard to how black lives are treated historically.
