"Amelia" punk 8.5" x 6.5" x 3" I have been working on a series of different faces in stoneware clay called "sketches in clay". Each character is created one at a time by hand building. As I come up with an idea, I try to recreate it by building glasses, adding a mustache or flowers, painting it in unique ways, or something like that. This is very similar to creating a rough sketch in pencil. No two pieces can ever be identical.
