An Evening in Kuğulu Sculpture

This work is based on works found in my hometown at different periods of my life. It was inspired by the photographs I created in my mind of my memories of living in Kuğulu Park. Freezing time, preventing change I hope everyone who wants to see the endemic plants, the texture of the mountains, the nature of the Peking ducks that I have engraved in my memory. The poetry it adds and the footprints I combine with the picturesqueness of my childhood will find a response at some point in their lives. It was thought that the practicality in the use of stoneware mud would express the longing for the nature of the past more effectively.Additionally, the metallic brown glaze applied on it emphasizes the discomfort caused by the deterioration of the changing natural texture.
