Viewers rarely think about how much effort and labor was invested in creating the sculpture. They don’t see all this noise, dust, scraps of metal, heat from burning metal, burns, blinding eyes; it’s difficult for them to imagine the whole atmosphere in which works are created. But the work always succeeds, because I do it with love for noise, for warmth, and I don’t want anything else! The image technique, of which I am the author, combines three components: embossing, electric welding, epoxy resin. Embossing is about shape and volume. Electric welding is all about texture and texture. Epoxy resin is depth. When I prepare a work for pouring resin, it is an exciting moment, as the final stage is approaching and the audience will soon see the work. And their assessment of their work is important to me!
