Arctic Spirit Bear Sculpture

Bears are very beautiful animals. In northern Canada the polar bears are having problems finding food because the icebergs and the frozen ocean is melting too fast . They need the ice to hunt for seals and other food in the ocean. I feel polar bears need our help to survive. Organisations such as The WWF need our financial support to help these precious animals. The polar bear is carved from eastern maple, the mountains and the shelf is big leaf maple. The spirit bear is created by removing wood and filling it with colored epoxy. On the back are 2 small aluminium j rails which hook on to one longer j rail which is included.
