ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Hello, I've been carving for a little over 30 years, but also do other mediums, like silver, bronze, stone, wood, collage, etc. I'm in several musuems such as The Institute of American Art Museum in Sante Fe, and the Iroquois Indian Musuem in Howes Cave NY. I've won several juried art shows, such as the American Indian Higher Education Consortium in Albuquerque New Mexico, and the Woodstock Artists Association BOS for "Something About Animals" and "Less is More" an excersise in minimalism consecutively, I'm putting this up to see what heppens, I will be displaying it at several shows and powwows this summer. Primarily I'm a sculptor and jeweler known in the Native American circles, I'm in at least 6 different musuems including The Musuem of Contemporary Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the Musuem of Natural History in NYC, as well as the Iroquois Indian Musuem in Howes Cave, NY. On the other side, I do 2-D work, mixed media, and ceramics. I work in different types of stone, antler, bronze, silver, and gold. I'm just curious to see what happens here so I'm setting up an account, I have too many styles to stick with one, I may put up a necklace, or a collage, or a painting, or a carving, it depends on what mood I'm in and what materials are available at the time. I'm also an actor and a writer.
