ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The miniature Birth is a seated woman who carries a new life within her. The large sculpture Birth stands at the entrance to the botanical garden, of the University of Vilnius and is part of the European University Bridges - EUB art project, which Gaberi founded in Prague in 2000 in cooperation with old European universities. The EUB project is represented by the Gaberi sculptures placed in a public European university sphere. (Charles University 2000, Technical University in Vienna 2001, Jagiellonian University in Krakow 2005, University of Vilnius 2007, Corvino University in Budapest 2013).
