For being Baubo, a goddess so connected to the Earth, the ceramics seemed to me the ideal material for total and absolute relation with the beginning of the work, since I am using a mud (earth) that I transformed later into something vitrified through the fire which in turn is symbolically a purifying element.
On the other hand I like to see the changes that time and environment, orchestrated by the formality that the work exerts on the material, generating breaks and fractures on what a principle was created pointing to immaculate representation worthy of the purity of a goddess.
These cracks that arise in the path are an additional organic element that is not physically present because those lines are not an existing element, they are an imaginary element, that crack is an empty space that becomes a visual element and, additional to the work, which enriches it, and which enriches me, because if it bothered me I would worry about erasing it, but for me it is an additional resource as an aesthetic discourse in the work.
