Richard Hancock is a professional artist based in England, with more than thirty-eight years of artistic practice. He holds an M.A. from Chelsea School of Art in London, where he refined his skills and developed a versatile approach to visual expression. His work has been exhibited in both France and England, and his pieces are held in private collections in France, England, and Ireland. Throughout his career, Hancock has explored a wide range of media — including oil paint, collage, encaustic, graphite, and even household paint — always allowing the technique to align with the subject matter of each series. Illusion and draughtsmanship remain central to his practice. Hancock continues to create and share his art not only with the intention of selling but also to invite dialogue, exchange perspectives, and connect with audiences worldwide.
