About The Artwork
One of a series of sculptures made over lockdown inspired by Spanish polychrome sculptures. I see them as modern primitives or hybrid forms that co-opt some of the unexploited technologies that underpin gaming and put them to different ends. If pressed I would say that the assert the persistence of the physical in a world reframed by the digital. This piece is a simple study of human form.
