ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Plato's suggestion that the 'idea' comes prior to what we get to see in everyday life, led to this small work in bronze. Imagine an owl in the first few days of it's conception. In this sense the Romanian/ French sculptor, Brancusi influenced me greatly in my early years. He probably had a similar view when he created his birds. This cast is the second of a series of two casts.
