Blue folded Sculpture

Michelangelo freed figures locked inside a block of marble, Rembrandt loved the light, Van Gogh went crazy with colour and movement, Picasso created new shapes, Andy Warhol created fashion and celebrity, and he liked cans. Hockney teaches us that art is how you see the world around you. I see beautiful compositions of colour and shape in flattened roadkill drink cans and bottle tops. Piece of flattened roadkill drink can stitched to a plastic subframe made out used ice cream tub lid, in front of glass sheet within frame. Behind the glass sheet on paper are my signatures, my left thumb print, an anti forgery stamp, date and title. This hybrid sculpture/painting/collage can stand on a surface, or hang on a wall. The measurements include the frame, which is an integral part of the hybrid.
