This is a contemporary wall sculpture that I design and created. It is made up of about 80% of recyled material. I wanted to create something that would look amazing in a modern decor themed setting. I wanted something that had straight clean lines that look a tad retro but remain current if that makes sense.

I can't say I had a story about the piece at the beginning, but as I was working it made me feel that the metal and wood represented tracks and I inserted the different color squares in between the track to represent how each day goes in our life, some hot, some cold and some somewhere in the middle.

The squares that are painted have a thick texture and show a lot of depth and variation in color. This is by far one of my favorite works..

About The Artwork

This is a contemporary wall sculpture that I design and created. It is made up of about 80% of recyled material. I wanted to create something that would look amazing in a modern decor themed setting. I wanted something that had straight clean lines that look a tad retro but remain current if that makes sense.
