Born in Bramhall, Cheshire and raised in Derbyshire, I now live and works near the River Trent in Nottingham in a self- built zero carbon house/studio. I see myself predominantly as a ‘maker’ of work as much as a painter and collage my works from various materials, many of them recycled. Paint-wise I have worked in oils, acrylics and encaustic, giving my work a layered and three-dimensional quality.
