my bronze pets with my medium size 15" sculptures
This bronze cat is curled up, ready for a quick nap.
It is 4.5 " across and weighs 1.5 pounds. It's supposed to go with my 15" and 24" couple and family sculptures.
It is heavy yet hollow as it is shell cast and welded together.
The metal work is meticulously executed and the ears and tail are highlighted and polished. The surface is waxed to prevent rapid tarnishing. Occasional polishing is recommended.
A felt surface protector is affixed to the bottom. The signature is either under the felt or on the back side.

I have other animals available such as a dog, birds, and other cats. Please find them in my listings or send me a message.

Note:
If you want this cat to go with your existing 24" couple or family please message me so I can match the patina.

Bronze sculpture is the ultimate and since I had been a child I wanted to work in that medium. It took a few iterations. I was a printmaker and painter for almost 20 years, until I started to seriously pursue work in sculpture and bronze in 2008. During that time I still owned a fine art gallery in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 2014, I moved back to Santa Fe, NM a great place for artists and worked exclusively on my sculptures since. My studio is busy with custom orders and family portraits from miniature to monumental.
