About The Artwork

The sculpture is made of plaster. Its theme are our difficult experiences (such as: bad memories, childchood traumas, wounds, etc.), which for most of us are a burden, from which we are unable or subconsciously we do not want to free ourselves. So, by dragging them everywhere with us, we allow them to influence our present, and as a result, overwhelmed by anhedonia, we construct our relationship with the world from the point of view of a victim.

I'm a professional artist from Poland. I graduated from the renowned Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, where I obtained a Master's Degree in Art. Currently, I mainly do graphics and drawings. The main subject of my works is the human body, but for me it is only an inspiration to create diverse, semi-abstract compositions. To achieve this, I mix different media (pencil, graphite, crayon, charcoal, oil pastel, sanguine, paint), I use expressive lines and strong textures. I tend to focus less on detail and more on the overall impression.
